I tried something different tonight โ made it up myself Whisked some Italian red pepper paste with some wasabi and a bit of mayo and rubbed it on top of salt/peppered salmon. The rub keeps the flavor in and creates this golden crust. Broiled it for 8 minutes and put it on a salad. Was delish

Interesting. I often use mustard (Dijon with the seeds) and mayo on trout. Wasabi could be interesting. Not sure what to mix it with. Might be too overpowering on its own. Hmmโฆ ๐ค For salmon I am always afraid of ruining it (itโs not cheap, fresh from the market) so I stick to pepper. Itโs getting a bit boring tbh.
