more convinced than ever that everything becomes tokenized, but less sure how tokens maintain value when anyone can launch one or to put it another way: - everything will be tokenized - tokens trend toward zero unless they're meaningful anyone have thoughts on how to solve the conflict?

My belief in Ethereum has always been led by my belief in @vitalik.eth as the best crypto leader that we have. The way the recent drama has been handled has only strengthened this belief. Great leaders stick to their vision and do not capitulate to competitors taking shortcuts or mob mentality. It's easy to take shortcuts for hype. It's easy to capitulate to the mob. Humans and chimps have around 98.8% of their DNA in common. That tiny 1.2% difference represents about 6 million years of evolution. Even a 0.4% difference among humans involves thousands of genes. Claiming genetic drift doesn’t cause any significant differences is utterly misguided and illogical.
