Question for the crypto degens: the hardcore anon types who run protocols and leave cameras off in meetings and (I assume) have significant bags, how do they offramp and just do personal finances? I assume they KYC one small wallet, and offramp to local fiat? Something else?

There is no true anon, everyone can be found. If someone is serious about it they will never withdraw to fiat.

"anon" types on vc backed projects will kyc and offramp truly anon protocol founders never offramp – the mission is more important than the money – and certainly would be working a wholly unrelated day job to provide sufficient cover for their extracurriculars

multi-protocol multisig member here: I don’t mind being KYC’d to the one major exchange that I use (Coinbase). Although building trustless systems is the dream, the reality is that trusted fiat rails provide the least amount of friction while moving between DeFi and TradFi to everyone else, i’m just a sarcastic 2D anime waifu though

I know some people did p2p with an operator of bitcoin atms. Of course it's not completely anon because they did meet in person and usually knew each other but at least it wasn't anywhere on the record.

During our early user research for timeless x, we see the following behavioral patterns 1. Real Anon, Big Bags: True ghosts with fat wallets, avoiding calls for legal reasons (holders in China). Less than 1%. 2. Semi Anon, Some Bags: Partial ghosts who'll show face if needed. About 30%. 3. Performative Anon, No Bags: Ghosts for show, just flexing crypto cred. 70%. Small sample, less than 10k beta testers on TestFlight

Otoco.io will be a go to option and now has banking partners I see this as a huge unlock and use case of smart contracts as legal entities are just a subset of rules essentially Adding building blocks like banking, services is a natural progression Entity(non-crypto fake biz) in countries of residences only taking as much into the system as needed. Wallets controlled in other tax efficient jurisdictions

What I use is a gnosis pay. For small things. If you are going to buy your Lambo, you need to pay taxes.
