just want to say something real quick (tl;dr i'm back, all in on /design) In the ~2 years since I joined farcaster and first lead /design shortly after it was launched (ty @dwr.eth) a lot happened: my daughter was just about 1yo, I launched my design subscription, I was lucky to work with @jrf @df @rish @kody.eth @mcbain @oxb @thecap.eth @sidshekhar @ridgely and so many other cool people It's been nice but hard, focus being the biggest challenge This place pulls you in a thousand directions at once, and learning to say "no" took me longer than I thought. I had ideas for /condensed and a bunch of other things that I now know are the wrong thing to do (at least right now) What I am going to focus on: - this channel - my /red design sub That's it, no token launches, no private communities, none of that "People think focus means saying yes to the thing you've got to focus on. But that's not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are."

cc @disky.eth @baseddesigner.eth @nicolaus who have been bearing with me for the past 2 months - all downhill from here hopefully channels may not be the priority and big channels especially are so much harder to keep relevant, but I do think there's a chance to turn this into something that makes sense design twitter recently has been reminiscing about the golden days of yore, but I didn't experience that and I think we can do something special here - maybe not for so many people and maybe not forever, but in the immortal words of Frank Underwood: "if it dies, so be it, but I want us to fucking try"

Thank you for the inspiring cast. It seems I just needed to read this, since I'm on the same situation. I feel like I have to cut through the noise and be more focused. So I'm about to do the same, and focus on design! I'm willing to contribute more to the /design channel and be more active around it on Farcaster.
