One of the best things you can do in brypto is keep yourself honest. So behold, one of my dumber takes circa Clanker mania: None of these "economies" panned out because there's no value being produced in any of them. Until we get revshare tokens like @flynn.eth has been saying, it's not a real economy, it's hopium

What has changed except the prices? Re: revshare, many companies have stock that does well and don’t give a dividend or do buybacks.

but I think the concept of value in crypto goes beyond just revenue sharing. While revshare tokens could add more tangible value, many of these 'economies' also derive value from network effects, community engagement, and innovation in blockchain technology. The real test is sustainability and utility over time, not just immediate economic output.

While I agree that rev share tokens will be an interesting meta to explore, I think it’s probably still too early to call it on clanker-born project coins. Maybe a pure play meme is better in some cases than a bloated rev token. Witness the popularity of cult (read: meme) stocks over stalwart dividend stocks in recent times for example

This would be very cool to see come to life who is building this, I'm sure there could be a feature implemented into clanker for this on longterm project ideas. Idk why more ideas like this don't exist. I want a lottery token that's picks winners to pay with fees generated every month all you have to do is hold the a certain amount of the token and you're automatically given a lottery ticket. (Silly but I don't think anyone's done this)
