some takeaways from talking with farcasters irl in /paris yesterday: - in total 11 people showed up (2 directly from the airport!), engaged users are motivated to connect irl - everyone looking for alpha (stated preference as joke, revealed preference seriously); a lot of degen, defi and clanker talk - from content creator pov, goal is audience growth, and warpcast/farcaster/web3 tools in general do not provide enough analytics atm to achieve this - my 3rd year hosting a meetup, first time hearing people express not 100% positive sentiment, mainly on concerns of user growth, lack of client diversity and difficulty for new accounts to break through

I think it is indeed very difficult for new accounts bc their casts are usually hidden. And many times people don’t spend the time with them. There should be some incentive for new accounts. Maybe a tab with casts posted only by new accounts?
