wait you can just buy a dog in the mall in america??? i have never seen this before in the uk i think most ppl get dogs from breeders, rescue centres or farms i couldnt believe it when i saw a family point at a dog and then were taken to a little room to play with it and then they just took it home did anyone on here get their dogs from a shop how did you know it was a perfect match???

It SHOULD be illegal and a lot of states prohibit it. It’s really poor breeding practice and unethical. But they are of course super cute so people get sucked in. Loads have health problems.

Many of the places like this are rescue or shelter operations. Pets last chance to get adopted. We’ve volunteered at them for years and years

It’s terrible I heard they sometimes drug the dogs to make them more docile. I think stores like that should also have to show rescue animals so many with homes.
