introducing team huddle a new /actrackclub ritual to discuss health and wellness each friday! today's prompt is: over the past week, can you pinpoint a specific moment where your exercise routine (or the lack of one) significantly affected your mood, energy, or focus?

i'll go first! for me it was yesterday, i was feeling pretty low and i took part in @chicbangs.eth higher dance challenge, at first i felt silly but after dancing for a while i literally felt so joyful. i forgot how much i loved dancing, dealing with injuring my knee and quad a in 2023 and early this year meant that i couldn't dance at all for literally a year and a half and i haven't really danced since recovering so yesterdays dancing really impacted my mood in the best way. thankyou chic!

i’ve been going on daily walks again thanks to /thewalkingclub. it’s really been helping to keep me mentally clear! on Wednesday, i put it off and it was such a long day that i didn’t get to it. i noticed a big difference when i was trying to wind down for bed.

Yes. About mid-week I was bombarded by life stuff and ate poorly, and I’ve been struggling with feeling sluggish since.

Yes this morning! After a week long onsite in NYC for the receipts team, I woke up exhausted. Forced myself to run even though I didn’t want to, and BAM had so much energy. Crazy how counterintuitive that is but happens everytime

After a long day of teaching elementary students (specifically students in special education) and I feel frustrated I always enjoy a good full body strength class to reset my mind.

I usually work out in the evenings. On long days, like yesterday, I dread going because I'm tired. So today I went in the mid-afternoon. Now, I feel great because I'm able to focus on my work and errands without the gym looming.
