Do you have a Bonobos near you? I got married in the summer of this year and took the opportunity to buy a linen suit instead of renting. I’d avoid Indochino… poor quality control

1) hell yeah congrats!! Get suit tailored. Follow your gut for all the small details. FFS get a higher arrow cuff link or degen top hat pin.

If you have a good tailor near you, they probably make custom clothing too. I treated myself to custom made clothing for my birthday. I designed it myself and my tailor was my design consultant, and I went and picked out the fabrics myself. She made the clothing for me. There's tailor made clothing and then clothing made specifically for you. I felt my tailor had my best interests at heart and were more in tune with what looked good than a salesperson. And they will probably be around the same price anyways. TLDR: design your own suit and have the tailor make it.

Same here, congrats! I know a lot of guys who are very satisfied with their purchases from Indochino. I’m probably gonna check them out. Can usually get a decent credit card merchant offer and/or cashback site offer from them too. SuitSupply is another, think it’s a similar concept Other than that, I think getting anything you like and having it tailored should spare you from most criticism

classics and some fun stuff here. depending on where you're at in the world, or what the vibe is, have been successful and thankful for this service. might seem basic at first look, but people usually pretty impressed with the fits haha ⌐Ⓗ-Ⓕ https://theblacktux.com/

Nieman Marcus They'll size you, help you pick out the right one and then tailor it to fit. Still have the suit I was married in. Pay for quality.

Don't do indochino or suit supply, those can be for your bridal party. Custom made or Ralph Purple label.

I went to my friends wedding and rented a tux for the day did the job. But for your own wedding I would def visit a few different suit wedding shops and get one tailor made and cut to your big day. Rituals and institutions are important imo and I think u gotta def get a custom suit made for this as a rite of passage

Find a good tailor near you I suppose. Or buy one off the rack which won't fit as well

For a wedding a lot of people do custom, but it depends on your budget because it gets very expensive. If you have the money to spend for sure that is best route. But if you need something less straining on your pocket book, a middle ground is big box suit warehouses like men's warehouse will do custom work. The key is to stick to simple classic cuts, don't get too fancy with trends as they can look dated very quickly. The key is the fit. That's why tailored suits look so posh. Congratulations btw. 💛 💛 💛
