personally i would never buy a suit in america, price-value ratio is deeply fucked
i used to travel a lot so i would get fine bespoke suits in BKK or Vietnam - $100 gets you something fine, $500 is something great, $1k is amazing top tier Euro quality. you can't even get your nuts scratched at Men's Warehouse for $1k. i can rec a few that have online ordering, you can have a local tailor measure you - we did this for my 4 groomsmen, got us 5 matching suits for $600 total, they never left USA.
my "just hear me out" crazy advice is, fly to Bangkok and hit a luxury EU tailor. it'll take a few days. flight $800 + suit $1k + hotel $600 = under $2500 total, and you can bring your bride and make a trip out of it.
i wasnt able to travel to SEA from '19-today, so ive been waiting 5y for this trip to get several new suits, my closet has been hurting HARD lately. just spent $700 on a Holland Sherry that will last me the next 10+ years (i know bc i got the same thing 8y ago and it's still the nicest thing i own). 0 reply
