Probably half of Solana's success is how easy and intuitive it is to swap in the Phantom app, with those big unbashful green or red pnl numbers right up top, contrasted against the darkmode background. Dopamine sloshing everywhere.

i need to not forget that I was fading eth as an entire ecosystem before I got to FC because the fragmentation of all the L2s is a complete nightmare compared to everything on Solana simply being the same network

Have you tried it? I haven’t had a single swap go through on Phantom for almost a year. It’s a complete mess. The only feature I like is the sort of instant connect you have with dApps

Id say 50% of their success was SBF onboarding people with marketing. Other 50% are now VCs with big bags trying to set an agenda by: - Incentivising podcasts to mention sol - Run large amount of CT bots - Run capital into memecoins to fuel mania In the end all these things are unsustainable. Sol founders also need to stop gaslighting otherwise the platform will not be viewed as credibly neutral. I get it they try to catch up with Ethereum, fake it till you make it. But walking on very thin ice.
