Probably half of Solana's success is how easy and intuitive it is to swap in the Phantom app, with those big unbashful green or red pnl numbers right up top, contrasted against the darkmode background.  Dopamine sloshing everywhere.

Id say 50% of their success was SBF onboarding people with marketing. Other 50% are now VCs with big bags trying to set an agenda by:
- Incentivising podcasts to mention sol
- Run large amount of CT bots
- Run capital into memecoins to fuel mania

In the end all these things are unsustainable. Sol founders also need to stop gaslighting otherwise the platform will not be viewed as credibly neutral.

I get it they try to catch up with Ethereum, fake it till you make it. But walking on very thin ice.
