The reason people post about their success stories is because people celebrate success. You'd get lots of congratulations. Post about a shitty day you had and you will have almost no one drop a comment except very few who really and truly care. Those few, they are the real friends. Friends that recognize when you are low and are low with you, and also celebrate with you when you are successful.
They are the ones who don't just show up for the highlight reels, but also for the behind-the-scenes struggles. They are the ones who listen, who empathize, and who offer a helping hand. They are the ones who remind you that you're not alone, that you're seen, and that you're loved.
Cherish those friends, because they are the real MVPs. They are the ones who will be there for you through thick and thin, through successes and failures, and through all the ups and downs of life. 12 replies
