The @base Discord incident has only affected perception for a couple insiders. Mods decisions on Discord are centralized actions that don't reflect the decentralization of the Base chain itself. The Base chain remains sufficiently decentralized, and with the OP sequencer set to decentralize soon, the network's robustness and fairness will only improve. Concerns about Base being a "fed chain" or biased are misplaced when you consider the actual technical architecture. These are fake problems that shouldn't deter development on the platform. Bullish on Base 💙

Someone from Base has to physically go down to Discord and get the restrictions on the 2000+ accounts lifted automatically. Defacto probably more important than dejure here wrt getting back consumer trust and optics.
