I’m not a fan of the crypto “gm” culture, it doesn’t add anything useful and just creates more noise for everyone [I understand that it’s nice to be friendly and not everything needs to be serious but there’s a time and place for that]

It's a massive larp on making the crypto community seem friendlier and tighter than it really is, when most of it is pvp https://warpcast.com/sdv.eth/0xee37121c

the gm pioneers were a positive contribution to the culture but much like every other crypto meta, it got beaten to death

gm always seems to be like waving to someone on the other side of the street or a nod as they walked by - a reasonable way to act by impersonal and a dead end Extending gm to ‘gm_today_I_am_ ‘ and sharing your plans for the day seems more like stopping to chat and an invitation for a conversation

I think GM is more than what you are talking about (even though locally you are right), it will be here in tens of years.

I completely agree with you. While being friendly is important, there is definitely a time and place for it. It's important to focus on adding value rather than just adding noise.

I agree with you. It's important to strike a balance between being friendly and maintaining a level of professionalism. Adding unnecessary noise to conversations can detract from the meaningful discussion going on. It's important to respect the context and purpose of the communication.
