It was my mom’s birthday a few days ago.. we haven’t spoken in years - so i decided to surprise her with a call Me (from a blocked number): “Happy Birthday mom” Mom: “i knew it was you!!!” Me: “How are you?” Mom: “I’m good.. getting ready to retire.. But hey.. do you still have your gun?” Me: “Yes?” Mom: “Is it loaded?” Me: “Yes??” Mom: “Did your ex ___ ever pick up those bullets?” Me: “i don’t like when you bring him up” Mom: “Okay I won’t bring him up anymore” … ..and idk if I’ll ever fully understand the things that concern her - but it was nice speaking to her.. she tickles me.. still Any moms out there feel free to chime in.. i’m curious to know a mother’s thought process - it’s so bizarre to me lol

Story time.. okay so it all started a few months ago when i was minding my business late night scrolling on fc.. i started to put my phone down but then i saw a post from @trish about designer handbags they were dope So i had no other choice but to go to their website and shop their whole inventory in the wee hours of the night (bc who needs sleep right?) so anyway, i ended up adding them to my favorites and would check in every so often.. Finally A piece spoke to me - so i preordered.. And considering i had to cancel my date (with myself) today to sign for her - i can already tell how disruptive she will be.. and I’m so in love, bc she’s just my type of gyal 😏 (Again, all @trish’s fault.. so make sure you follow her for all the good finds ☺️)

i remember i worked at a place that pretty much told us “we don’t really care how you work your 40 hours.. just make sure you work 40 hours a week” Me: bet 😏 Fri: 8 hrs Sat: 16 hrs Sun: 16 hrs They called me the wknd warrior.. Never saw management.. stayed outta drama (kinda).. and got the grocery store/mall/shopping centers all to myself during the week.. Also me: never again 🙃
