Before you build a client think about distribution, usage patterns, hooks Most people here haven’t built in social before and don’t realize how hard it is to get someone to download an app and keep it on their home screen If you build it ≠ they will come, trust me, I learned this the hard way

do you think the Farcaster model of open access to the graph makes it easier for third party clients to retain users? IE your friends and following are identical across clients as opposed to different platform means different audience

hooks are the hardest one imo initial attention is easy with incentives, but why would they come back tomorrow? that’s where you find the juice of it
