Thinking of doxxing myself given the recent situation. The only reason I am semi-anon is to stop irl people from finding out about this account and stuff related to some of my finances.  everyone who video chats with me knows who I am. 

But I am starting to feel like being anon hurts my brand.

pseudonymity can encourage authenticity, preserve privacy, and allow for the expression of ideas which may otherwise go unsaid, among other things

like most things, it can be used for good and bad

I feel you. Though I am mostly worried about my onchain history. I have heard of people here getting murdered over a few hundred bucks and my hometown area is very well known for violence(tbf, the violence has been in decline recently)

the only reason i'm semi-anon is i'm a double minority in indo (ethnicity and ID stated religion), if my critical-on-gov post on X gain traction, you can bet the indo gov proxies would come knocking on my door asking for bribes or i gotta deal with crooked lawyers and grassroots thugs day in day out looking over my shoulder if someone would tbone me on the road

yeah, almost anyone who collabs with on projects know who i am. But i am currently running a crowdfund and i feel like it would be doing better if i was putting my face out there more

if you're doxxed to some then it shouldn't matter at all and only if you're handling funds imo 

being anon doesn't hurt a brand if done right. but a facer account is perhaps useful, I've thought about creating one to be more "professional"
