i sorta wrote this as a quick sloppy intro for Friday's post to make another point but i wanted to see what people thought about the general premise of "backend of society" sentence part. is it worth noodling on more? is there a better framing? cc @jihad @lght.eth you guys have a knack for these kinds of analogies

like it off gut instinct. from my pov the area left to refine is “society” nerding out for a moment: backend of is a solid model imo - confers a specific direction for the reader to infer after your crypto x hero context before it society leaves too much room for misunderstanding imo backed of [another opportunity to direct your core idea] if you’re trying to talk about finances go toward market, economics, or business minded area terms if compute, or social, or philosophical go there ie. what is a “society” more obviously stated into the specific terminology resonant to what you’re meaning to talk about as the paper goes on

if the internet can be considered backend of present society, then crypto can be considered backend of future society if smartphones can be considered the frontend to mainstream internet, AI might be the frontend to mainstream crypto
