when someone asks "what are your values", how do you respond? the question seems so simple yet really difficult to have a confident, coherent answer

I ask that to my friends often and think about it a lot. I try to think in singular words: love, inspiration, and delight.

Values can be tough because there are so many - hard to narrow down on one or two. If people ask I usually tell them my life purpose: to inspire and be inspired. Values are closer to: - life is to be enjoyed - we are all responsible for our own happiness - acceptance

in v few circumstances would i answer that. so likely i’d say “that’s personal” if it felt like that wouldn’t go over well i’d say “the general ethics of humanity, with some of my own variants due to certain experiences”
