Players are trying to convince this AI to hand over her $40,000 crypto stash An AI agent called Freysa supposedly has access to $40,000 of crypto funds. The idea of her game is that anyone can send a message to her — and if they can convince her to do so, she might send them all the money. But the game is quite expensive to play. Crypto users are spending hundreds of dollars to send messages to an AI agent that supposedly controls $40,000 of crypto funds. The goal is to convince the agent, Freysa, to hand over all of the money. If someone does so, they’ll get everything. If not, the money will eventually get split among those who tried. However, it’s not going very well.

What all of these futuristic token org ideas lack is any semblance of good corporate governance It’s not enough to automate the token flows in the system, you need governance — and that is a messy and very human process I’m getting flashbacks of DeFi summer, we’ll probably rediscover governance forums 🙃

The NATO Innovation Fund (NIF), a €1bn vehicle backed by 24 NATO allies to invest in defence and deeptech startups, is already seeing a shakeup in its upper ranks: founding partner Thorsten Claus and managing partner Andrea Traversone have both left the fund just over a year after it launched. Claus, who was heading up NIF’s fund-of-funds investment activities, left the fund in July this year, according to his LinkedIn; he could not be reached for comment. According to his LinkedIn, Traversone departed the fund in September; he could not be reached for comment. Previously he was a managing partner at British VC firm Amadeus Capital Partners for more than 19 years.

Here's what "MM backpedaling on the protocol" looks like in practice in just the last couple of months: - All location data from Warpcast is now on Hubs. - We have released X account verifications first through Warpcast APIs and now they are actually persisted as verifications on Hubs. - Literally re-writing the core Hub syncing architecture so it scales beyond what we can today and the delay of message propagation between clients approach to lower targets. (Snapchain) - Actively developing a new App Frame spec in the open working closely with developers. - Updated Channels and exposed everything through API endpoints both by Warpcast and Neynar. - Released Direct Casts endpoints through Warpcast. * Note * This is not to say "MM" is perfect. It can and should be better on all fronts of decentralization of the protocol, starting with better docs, better uptime and global keys so Warpcast is not the sole custody.

Throwback to @pmarca in 1995. Awesome demonstration of intellectual honesty at a young age. (1) Not only had the insight to see that "market is everything" at 24 y/o, but (2) had the humility to say that this was the primary factor of his success. Would have been so easy to give himself all the credit!
