In my area, the local council has put in tons of solar panels and wind turbines aiming for zero electricity bills and selling extra energy to nearby councils. There's no plan, however, to lower council taxes or make electricity cheaper for us residents.

It's funny how this chat mirrors those debates where folks say you can't criticize capitalism just because you own an iPhone. Loads of fast fashion brands out there, but Shein takes the cake for being the worst without delivering on quality. Didn't realize there were so many Shein defenders around.
