A few years ago I started reading at least one history book for each world country, alphabetically I started with Afghanistan and got to the Bahamas; learned quite a bit and found very interesting books (like The Fatal Shore about Australia) I'm thinking that I should 1) continue 2) review these?

Do you have any stand out favorites? I'd be interested in any country, but particularly in Spain, Argentina, India, and Nepal.

As for Argentina, The Argentina Reader is the only one I read and it was great because it's a collection of short essays and contains a curated bibliography where you can find more https://www.dukeupress.edu/the-argentina-reader

Nothing on those countries yet - although I can share a few from my To Read list on Goodreads about India (https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/15928142-antimo-mire?shelf=world-history-d-k)
