for simplicity's sake, set degen to 1 usd. how much [money] would you lock away for 90 days to be able to freely invest (or steal) 900000/ USD during that period? 1 million? 2 million? 10 million? 100 million? fwiw I think the upper limit is around 10:1, ie I would be willing to lock 10m USD maximum for 90 days to freely invest 900k over a 90 day period (ceteris paribus). what about you?

Degen staking-for-allowance can’t quite be though of like staking for yield Network-yield is how I’ve been thinking about it. stake degen if you’re bullish DEGEN (you probably hold some already, no?) OR stake degen if you’re bullish on your own capacity to distribute a tip allocation in a manner that will have positive effects for Farcaster, and by proxy, DEGEN

I like my model better than the existing one, leveraging boosts to bridge a gap between 8k/day-10k/day as well as puts the ability to tip into the hands of more people with a 50/min for non pb holders that have a minimum stake of 1k for a 6 months. I also think that the length of the term for your lock up should correlate with a boost as well. Boosts would be SMALL, I used the keycode to the first door in Deus Ex GOTY as a float and it worked pretty well (0451) so idk what I think yet other than: "I have too many ideas for my income."

I think for me it boils down to how much I am in need of the liquidity. If I have 150 mil and can’t be bothered about some 10% of it getting locked, I’d lock that 15mil. As of now, in my case, I claimed some 60k. Had 10k saved from previous seasons hold. I locked the entire 70k to get an allowance of ~700 deg. Swapped some eth to get 20k deg and gave it two two newbie friends to onboard them and let them be a part of tipping game. What’s whales do is hard for me to fathom. :)
