Very possible that by the end of the day today you need to stake 1,000,000 $degen to be eligible for a 10k allowance

for simplicity's sake, set degen to 1 usd.

how much [money] would you lock away for 90 days to be able to freely invest (or steal) 900000/ USD during that period?

1 million?
2 million?
10 million?
100 million?

fwiw I think the upper limit is around 10:1, ie I would be willing to lock 10m USD maximum for 90 days to freely invest 900k over a 90 day period (ceteris paribus).

Nah I mean set this up as a part of the core degen staking. So instead it just staking degen and getting nothing you get yield that is earned from yearn automatically. Yearn is robust and market resilient and they have large backstop funds, it’s as “safe” as you can get. 

The alternative and most probably is like you’re saying just make the lst transferable and then people can use it how they want, but automatic yield would increase the incentive to stake and I think most people don’t get restaking yet.

LDEGEN would have to be transferrable (presently not)
