here's how it went from my perspective: > shadi worms her way into my feed > starts encouraging me (softly, but persistently) to get hyped > keeps trying to get me hyped (I don't lol) > finally shares the website; as promised, I read it > ask Shadi to remove Degen iconography (hats everywhere) > she seems weirdly desperate for my approval and for DEGEN's participation; I decline, pending an actual product and not just some ponzu with extra steps > she removes Degen logo (mostly) from website > I promise to revisit JRI once they have a... product... and not just a dubious financing mechanism. > fast forward a couple of weeks, the project is doing well ostensibly (ie, the token price is up only for /reasons/) > shadi circles back around to me for an "investment of 10k" > I decline, again. Something is... off. Either they're incompetent or... > they rug

Couldnโ€™t understand it. Was unclear what an onchain kickstart would have to do with assured gains, and I couldnโ€™t reconcile what they thought the flow of money would be with what I think the reality is. Iโ€™m actually uncertain if this was a calculated scam or just someone who is naive/inexperienced that believed in their minds they were building something sustainable, but they didnโ€™t build the momentum they wanted and saw the whole thing collapsing, so just left. Kinda leaning towards the latter since there are ways to put lesser effort and get more Ether.

I figured this last month when they were going hard with people joining their discord. I listened to their Farhouse recording about the project and immediately knew it was a rug lol They even admitted it was a pyramid scheme. I sold any $JRI I had and unfollowed them. Scammers at its finest
