I actually think we're probably already at the point where the marginal bit of anti-wokeness is on balance more bad than good. (Not the same as wokeness being good, because anti-wokeness doesn't just fight wokeness, it also has many, IMO mostly bad, side effects) https://twitter.com/0FJAKE/status/1783928239099875386

And a killer of polarization is having to think about completely new questions. It's a good way to realize that the people who you thought were 100% aligned with you actually have significant differences, and the people who you thought were 0% aligned with you have more in common with you than you imagined.

I hope that people fight against the polarization of their mind by remaining curious, empathetic and childlike. Our inquisitive nature is the greatest power we hold

The antidote to polarisation is surely “curiosity”, the foundation of both empathy and new ideas. Polarisation is a defensive act, and therefore never leads to more understanding or discovery 😔 Imagine if our societies fostered and uplifted the practice of curiosity 🌈

Love this point. What are some examples of some “completely new questions” you’ve encountered recently? Or would like to pose yourself?

a characteristic is extreme inflexibility because they are sure they are on the right side of history. they are at war with you because you are standing in their way. you can't negotiate with people at war with you unless you represent enough of a threat that compromise is less costly.

Polariszation is like kind of human saving energy mode while facing complexity issue which require amount of energy to comprehend. Other saving mode to such thing is procrastination which delay time for energy refill before taking actions.

Well ye, people have to be omega fluid in every aspect of their life. I'm not saying they shouldn't have policies, just don’t have prejudices lol.
