I actually think we're probably already at the point where the marginal bit of anti-wokeness is on balance more bad than good. And a killer of polarization is having to think about completely new questions. It's a good way to realize that the people who you thought were 100% aligned with you actually have significant differences, and the people who you thought were 0% aligned with you have more in common with you than you imagined.

The antidote to polarisation is surely “curiosity”, the foundation of both empathy and new ideas. Polarisation is a defensive act, and therefore never leads to more understanding or discovery 😔 Imagine if our societies fostered and uplifted the practice of curiosity 🌈
