Root claim is by BofA, and the detailed version is “all Chinese companies listed on HK stock exchange” This $1.7T may be different than the $4T+ on the list you provide bc not all companies listed on HKSE are Chinese As to why “HKSE” = “all Chinese Cos” Maybe they regard these as CCP intrapraneurship? :)

yeah tbh there are many such cases now where falsehoods just plainly circulate and people take these things for granted. I‘d even go as far as to say that we all are constantly brainfucked by social media and that psyops are as real as reality gets. It‘s really problematic but no idea how to fight that
