Appreciate that American Airlines was easy to work with after our flights were cancelled from last Fridays flight debacles. Appreciate that it happened early enough that we hadnā€™t arrived to the airport yet, and were able to drive to my Stepdads funeral in time. Many people were stuck and didnā€™t have that luxury. Many people are still waiting for refunds.

ITAP of the Snails and Tails appetizer. Exclusive dish from my late Step Dads restaurant. A cult following comes out to order this when itā€™s available. Such a unique plate. šŸ¤Œ

Whole Tenderloin that was frozen, being slightly de-thawed enough to slice and vacuum seal into individuals. Tons of meals ahead šŸ’Ŗ

Took a break from casting. Lost my Step-Dad. Finally back to settling into life and have some appreciation to share. I'm appreciative for timing. Sure it varies for everyone, but I tend to fixate on instances of bad timing. For now I am focused on the good timing. I was in town visiting for the first time in a couple years with my family. While there my Step-Dad has his final heart attack. I was numb to it, mostly thinking he would recover again. He didn't. What I appreciate is the timing of coming when I did, along my family. We had a great few days before the day he had the heart attack. We conversed, he played with my sons, we ate dinner, and enjoyed our time. Not one bad or awkward moment. Now that he is gone, I'm focusing on being thankful of the time I chose to visit, and the experiences that both he and I were able to have right before his death.

Daily Appreciation Cast: I appreciate barbers deciding to book by appointment only. I grew up waiting for hours sometimes to get my preferred barber. Now I can just schedule and show up when itā€™s time. So appreciative of this change!

I appreciate people who are happy today. Seems simple, but as many know itā€™s not. I had an interaction today with a lady at a coffee shop who was the barista. She was older, and clearly enjoyed her job. Such a simplistic job yet it fulfilled her. It was evident in our conversation that the interaction with people brought her joy. Her happiness, brought me happiness. I very much appreciate our interaction today!

Daily Appreciation Cast: Tea Tree Oil is incredibly underrated. I can use it for a wide range of skin issues and it solves them. My favorite use is razor burn post shaving. I have been using it for decades and it has never let me down! Very appreciative!

Daily Appreciation Cast: I appreciate family time. On a trip with my family back to the mountains where my wife and I grew up. Itā€™s awesome to show your kids where youā€™re from. See some of the same places and people, in a much different context. Building memories daily on this trip, thankful for that.

Daily Appreciation Cast: Friends: Visiting a 30 year old friend right nowā€¦ nothing changes. Itā€™s amazing, and even cooler to see our boys having a blast together! Reflection: Somehow Iā€™ve got to grow, this is a powerful tool in that process. Boundaries : Iā€™m starting to set them more frequently in my life. Itā€™s helping , and Iā€™m thankful for that.

Daily Appreciation Cast: I appreciate having access to new cars. We always have one car that is used and paid for and one that is a new lease. The used car is the local car used mostly for around town. Itā€™s my truck. My wife drives a new lease which we always have to travel. As well as being used for her day to day work travels. Having the new option makes travel worry free. We know we have something reliable for our kids to travel in. Canā€™t beat that feeling and I appreciate it because it hasnā€™t always been that way for us!

Agreed , the funniest moments in life are often from people not trying to be funny, in moments that arenā€™t funny when retold.
