2 day weekends with toddlers are more work than 5 day work days

This is true — I'm currently on a 7 day schedule with my toddler

Some days its a complete joy, others I secretly sip wine in bed and shed a tear from exhaustion at nightfall

Thinking instead of Farcon we setup a roving Farschool

For one month of the year we pool together some funds, hire world class educators and carers, rent a beautiful farm somewhere in the world and everyone with kids here co-locates for a combination of fun, rest, and time in nature

7 day fugue state over here with our kids now that they're all walking 🫠

The journey just started… the more they grow the less you will have energies 😅
Until they are teen and will manage their time themselves.

I can't count the number of times tears spontaneously flowed down my face😂

100% true, it's more work. Very tiring, physically AND emotionally AND sometimes when my older one wants me to invent yet another NEW story, also intellectually.

But somehow happier at the end of the day :)
