Any whoop users here? Does it track any health metrics better than the Apple Watch?

“Watch”ing this thread. I want something that can watch my pulse and also be nicely integrated with Strava and possibly Apple Health app. I have zero interest in wrist notifications. I have some interest in pretending I’m Dick Tracy. Leaning Apple Watch Ultra II whenever it’s announced. Whoop is tempting tho

🫡 Using whoop for >2y now, never used Apple Watch I like the simplicity of the recovery/strain model and activity/sleep tracking. The low level stuff seems to be the same everywhere… HRV as holy grail It’s really for athletes though, which I’m not

Just started using whoop. My only complaint is the strain metric is funky. I get high strain from running and almost no strain from lifting. Even tho lifting is typ a harder day for me. It's heart rate based so I get it, but still.

I'm a big fan of whoop. Has worked wonders for me to track strain, sleep and recovery. Can't compare it against Apple Watch though, since I've never used it.

i have used both, and the Apple Watch is better for more connected users. WHOOP has better organization of data, but feels like they over-indexed on analytics and under-indexed on insights

How is their data privacy policy? Interested in biometric tracking but don’t love the idea of my health metrics being sold.

Use whoops like 5/6 months like it better than Fitbit, Oura cause I could not sleep with it. Whoops is simple and I don’t feel it on my hand since it is light and smallish … depends on what you proriotize it for. For me sleep is #1 priority.
