If the issue with onboarding users from Brazil is due to payment issues on Android, I would happily donate $ to cover signup fees for people with Brazilian phone numbers. I bet other people would too.

agree, the Lens team is working hard on that issue it seems. imo paying for posts was a feature and not a bug tho - bots and farmers would be reduced by 90% if they had to pay

I like the way I feel after reading a novel. My inner dialogue is observant and clear. It has words for things and processes things one after the other. Stark contrast to when I’m terminally online. I feel comparably distracted, absent, nonlinear and reactive.

Why are Farcaster builders so optimistic when X, Y, and Z bad things exist? My brother, bad is the default. It’s entropy. Failure is the most likely outcome when building something new. If you’re not a definite optimist, you’ve got no chance in making it happen. Even if you’re a rational person, you have to be willing to suspend belief just enough to make the bet despite all the bad. And then it’s just week of week progress and try not to die (mostly figuratively). For years.

Fun fact I launched divide.cash after a 2 week build in January. I didn’t know anyone on Farcaster so I shared it in a channel and @ispeaknerd.eth and @swabbie.eth just jumped in and settled a $100+ bill. That fafo early adopter energy on Farcaster is priceless and what kept me around this year.
