Sooo many misconceptions about and aversions to therapy. How to improve this?

Also I feel a lot of people have never been thought to talk about, sit with or healthy move through things, so it’s extremely uncomfortable. This creates an aversion because people find comfort in avoidance/denial or busying themselves because that’s what’s familiar vs giving themselves space

I think this is maybe the real unspoken reason. Ppl make excuses, like not trusting therapists or thinking it's not helpful... But I think the truth is ppl are afraid to face their struggles and the belief we were mostly all raised with is if you can push it down and carry on it's better anyway. It's unfamiliar.

Its also that awareness right, is it in me or is it other people. To get to the realisation that you play a fundamental part in your own externalities is something a lot of people just do not get to. What’s the Jung quote: Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.
