I just visited someone's profile page to look for a recent thread I forgot to bookmark, and accidentally clicked the unfollow button while I was there. Not the first time that's happened.

This time I realized it right away and re-followed. But there have been other "mystery unfollows" that I didn't intend... yet I only noticed it months later when I wondered why I wasn't seeing their casts in my feed anymore. 😮

I sometimes go back and manually click on my casts and replies to make sure I didn’t miss any

I have noticed this as well. When it’s a surface level conversation is looks great in the comments but when things continue on, it’s troublesome

It seems warpcast optimizes for top level casts. And maybe one level of replies from who they belive is good. The rest they either don't care or actively hide and make very difficult to see.

Hopefully they can recognize at some point the value in deeper and continued convos. The users certainly do.
