It's been all about Open Edition lately. Snoop Dogg just dropped his OE on Sound. Wdyt about this model? Definitely great for new collectors, but collectible content isn't scarce anymore.

I love it for the most part. It actually increases adoption since more people can afford to buy dope art, which is bullish long term. Only thing I don't like about OE is when there's an overly complicated burn mechanic (burn the OE to get X, then burn X to get Y, and so on)

Artists are trying new stuff! I love the experimentation. Don’t get the hate / FUD on CT personally.

1) Great for artists to experiment 2) Hopefully will grow the universe of collectors 3) Conditions people to place low value on art 4) Crushing value of earlier mints that were priced higher (.1) and limited editions 5) Need to run #s but seems like even less liquidity for secondaries than before

The scarcity is now based on a time limit, but not sure how it plays out long-term. I like it as a tool in the toolbox but not the end all be all.

It means there’s enough volume to support it — a good thing. Volume also means a lot of new interaction possibilities!!
