If you ever had a computer shrine like this in your house growing up you really enjoyed a golden era of entertainment and reasonable doses of information. This was peak internet and computer-usage generally The Marc Andreesen quote about “software eating the world” is really true. Back then, when you stepped away from this hardware setup the software couldn’t really get you. I can almost hear the sound of the 28k modem connecting to the internet (And blocking out all incoming calls at the same time). And encarta spinning in the disk drive. Halcyon days.
