Actually, 2400bps was on a good day! Dialing from HK to UK HQ and waiting for text-only email to download at 1200 bps for 40 mins. Line drops. Go to bar. Come back and try again etc. And later trying to justify that on expense forms to corp bean counters. Fun times.

Patiently waiting a good five minutes for an image to load up. Kids these days have no idea of the meaning of patience.
