Learning is a lot like breathing. There are inhalations - you consume, expand, take in. Then there are exhalations - you clear out, reduce, empty. It’s interesting to ask ourselves from time to time what our breathing has been looking like: Have I only been trying to consume mountains of new ideas and facts? Have I only been looking for that one single principle that explains it all? Rhythm is everything.

Also ask yourself am I breathing through the nose or mouth? Nose good, mouth bad. So in the end this too probably helps learning because mouth breathing is bad for your health.

Gotta inhale the knowledge, but don’t forget to take a break and process all the intake. Balance is key!

True, I feel like I don’t pause to process information sometimes I just take everything in. I’m guessing this should be the inhaling phase Do you have practices that help you clear out and make sense of everything

It’s so easy to get lost in inhaling new ideas and forget to pause and process. But how do you make sure you're exhaling enough after taking in so much new information?
