yeah I think there's a balance.
It's nice for humans to be able to USE as much of the daylight as possible. (this is the right standard to keep in mind, I think)

Years ago Turkey stopped daylight saving

The result is it is 8am and dark in the morning

People hate it in general

the "daylight savings is stupid" take has become extremely overrated

is it already in US? 

it's a total mess lol I think we had it start earlier in Europe and now it's happening at the EOM
