Brutally honest and sobering feedback from r/ethereum on Farcaster. We have a lot of work to do! https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/192zi9a/why_are_you_here_and_not_on_farcaster/

What are your takeaways? Slight shifts in the forum and linkedin directions might help. I don't think there's been an app that really encapsulates a modern forum & networking experience. Give content more space and readability. Beef up profiles; you can turn the network into a flywheel directory with clean funnels.

I think top of funnel discoverability is something to improve. Clear value prop, call to action to sign up, explain why there’s cost. But the reality is word of mouth and invites from passionate existing users will be the best growth vector.

If you remember, this is why I once told you to focus on advertising first to developers focused on Farcaster protocol, then the narratives would develop in a decentralized way and eventually they‘d reach the consumer (reddit user). I still believe WC cannot present a good value prop to consumers on its own. 1/2

I think we need to market the architecture and the principles of the network to developers. If you go to crypto conferences, despite your high qDAU numbers, FC isn‘t understood or talked about as a technology. It isn‘t happening. So how can we assume consumers will care, if not even the experts care 2/2
