I’ve been doing crypto podcasts & articles for 4 years & I’ve never felt this disheartened. A lot of negativity. Not just twitter. It’s leaked into my discord groups & private messages. Idk - it just wears on you. Really struggling to find energy to do this anymore. I started Bankless because it was fun.

When I need energy I enter experimental mode. Only do things that you find interesting, fun or weird. That could be a fun mode to try on for Bankless for the first month or so. Break out of the routine and follow the fun. Go onchain only, no segments you don't want to do, etc etc Enter the FAFO Zone:

E.g. Bankless goes onchain only for a month: No twitter or youtube, post on farcaster and mint videos on zora. No substack or emails, write on mirror or paragraph. Livestream on Livepeer instead of twitter spaces etc etc. Worst case you call the experiment after a month, best case a new frontier opens up

I imagine they’ve promised their subscribers and advertisers a certain amount of content per month by email and video. You suggesting they just make the same exact content but on different platforms?

Yeah, the problem with turning your hobby into your job is it becomes a job. When you're running a media company you have to continue producing media on the channels people are used to. A better approach could be to try to delegate and let some other people record some episodes for a while.
