Huge marketing nerd here but spent the weekend thinking about it and I actually agree that social apps and probably games as well don’t rly need product marketing No one rly cares about why a social app is better, the only thing that matters is “are my friends and people I want to follow on it?”

There’s a reason why we haven’t seen a new social app, other thn TikTok, take off since the giants were established. You need marketing to achieve some level of distribution but more importantly you need to attract creators on the platform.
