You're actually really good at marketing. Mostly demonstrated in how you position the product and tell the story around how and why you're building it. There's also a lot to the idea of being abstract enough to let people make Warpcast "theirs".

Interesting take. I agree so as much as farcaster continue having evangelists that become natural amplifiers of the protocol (eg: farcon, degen). There is a danger where evangelist voices outweigh the mission of the protocol but that’s the ultimate decentralization trade off anyway

This is a terrible take. Product marketing matters everywhere. DEGEN as an example is janky, the documentation about how to use is it is non-intuitive, doesn't contain a single aid (screenshots or video walkthrough) for visual learners and took me several days to get my head around. Barriers like this slow growth.

Storytelling--as in telling the FC story, in the midst of the web3 story, in the midst of the social story to the various audiences is critical for FC.

I think you're both right. I don't think the team is overweighting the importance of engineering - that's really important when you have a cold start problem with a new social app. If you don't have volume, you need something else to create an edge and moat, in this case it's product experience... continuing below
