Honestly, it's fucking nuts.  It's easy to get a LOT of traction, but it's a lot of bots and reactionary bullshit.

Every time I post on Threads, I end up with a shitstorm of a comments section and my block list grows by a mile.  Of course, my follower count grows, too, cuz I get WAY more likes than I get people arguing.  It's just the reactionary twats are the loudest.

thissss would explain why I have only been here and not on other socials. the toxicity is justifiable for too many.

To be fair, politics is far beyond rational discourse, we don't even have language for what all is going on anymore. Left/right etc paradigms aren't close to descriptive for the info age. But yeah, that's out there lol
