This was a fantastic read, even as someone who isn't actively building products atm. @jonathancolton curious, but how would you apply these principles as a game designer? That's currently what I'm focused on atm. Gaming may not be as focused on solving real user problems like other products, but just wanted to get your 2 cents.

Been thinking about the current meta with mini apps and ai assisted coding. In a new market where anyone can code up an app with relative ease, success will ultimately come down to quality over quantity. With the coding barrier removed, anyone can spit out a bunch of apps, but the ones who succeed are those who don't just BUILD apps but DESIGN apps. And are able to design apps that are fun, intuitive, and easy to use and understand. Keep that in mind as you build: quality > quantity.

Checked my old ENS name while I was registering my new one and as it turns out, it's expiry date was today! Quite serendipitous! For the new sapling to spring up, it must be nourished with the ashes of the old elm.

Working on rebranding this week and looking at other platforms to post to. Any recommendations for a good Nostr client? Been researching it and I'm very surprised by the app and client diversity there. Any good communities there for someone interesting in art and app/game dev?

Another WIP video of what I completed over the weekend. More or less have all the components of the machine finished. Last piece is to gussy up the bumpers in the alcove and then build out the mini-game portion. After that, thinking of designing and implementing the graphics and adding sound effects before moving onto the point system and missions. Everything is coming up milhouse!
