and if you don’t think they are the anti-signal for builders, ask yourself (and please answer here) why they don’t cast on Farcaster more often where they could engage with the highest concentration of quality web3 builders and users online/onchain?

they were always focused on newcomers trying to understand crypto better and invest some money, so not at all surprised. enjoyed their newsletter for some time but after they started shilling ethereum all the time it became tiring even for such an eth-maxi as me

I'm actually impressed by the extent they maintain editorial independence. (e.g. Kraken is their biggest sponsors but they are constantly talking about Coinbase / Brian Armstrong.) I don't think their audience is harcore builders (like Farcaster). I think it's people who noraml jobs but are interested in crypto

Totally disagree, they have varying levels of content, from super deep and technical (David was one of the main key supporters getting EIP-1559 over the line), to extra content like this to provide some marginal value for those who pay. I personally don't care for airdrops, but I wouldn't delete it from the premium box

hardcore bankless premium listener here. at least I was until recently. the day the worldcoin episode dropped at the same time of worldcoin launch they lost me. not because of wc but because of conflict of interest

I thought it was kind of neat at first, but after thinking about it for a bit longer, the airdrops are mostly in hopes that people will stay and use the product, not just immediately dump for $. Airdrop farmers harm the end product. Also, Bankless is charging for this, so 🚨🚨🚨 no thanks.

They lost me when they had Eliezer Yudkowsky on. Not because of Eliezer but because of how they lacked critical thinking and were so easily susceptible to Eliezer's line of thinking.
