has anyone built a farcaster app***

Decided today that we’re not going to be working on /nook anymore. It was originally meant for us to play around with and learn new tech and has served that purpose. 

We don’t really see a path forward in continuing to build the client, so we’re going to explore some non-Farcaster ideas instead. More soon!

most onchain features should resemble e-commerce so that isn't a deal-breaker for me

in what way do you mean not crypto content?

referring to your feed? the app de-emphasizing web3 features? something else?

asking because I want @ballooncast to be friendly for non-crypto natives 🎈

hate to say this. buy very hard for them to survive

i, like a few others ive spoken to, am waiting the Good Wait for decentralized channels before going down that route

not sure if nook still has curation tools or what tools are available to do this(other than tools for building a particular search feed)

but i'm definitely bullish both on clients that aren't focused on crypto content and on clients that feel less like clients(more like community-oriented apps)

you can kind of do it for your own feed in nook with lists and also make that list public.  It also might be possible to make an app based off this list.  

Make a list of all the people that you know that doesnt talk about crypto things and that should work

could probably work well by excluding crypto related channels
