preface: i support jews; me asking this Q doesn’t mean that I don’t. i ask this genuinely, and i can’t be the only one confused. below is the exchange in which Kara/Scott/MSM say Elon endorses an antisemitic post. can someone explain how it is antisemitic? to me it reads as frustrated, but by no means hostile.

The way I read this it’s the fact that he separated Jews from whites. That has a very distinct Nazi-like feel to it. So Jews can’t be white? They can be any color under the sun. To me that’s a red flag comment…regardless of intention. The guy is definitely reading some alt-right stuff.

There's a lot to unpack but is the main point that Jews are anti-white folks and deserve to face hatred for being pro-immigration? That seems pretty messed up and was the motivation for a domestic terrorism attack a few years a go.

I, too, support the Jewish community. lived in Israel, worked for Israeli companies in exec roles, read the Torah/Talmud. That said - against the backdrop of the current regional conflict, we’re seeing more & more people conflating antizionism with antisemitism. The original tweet wasn’t hostile IMO.

seems fairly based, most of us are likely guilty of the thing he is talking about (probably what Elon is pointing at, idk). we all peddle our narrative till our narrative peddles back, mostly below our conscious. its why “do unto others, etc” exist. one could make this anti-s with the “right” perspective.

I read this a dozen times and I’m still unsure if I’m correctly interpreting this guy, his phrasing is super confusing. Essentially, Jews hate whites so they supported brown people coming to the West. Now they’re afraid of those same brown people in the West who dislike Jews.
