however you can design tokens as social lubricants (h/t @christopher) rather than them having to carry intrinsic financial value

we don’t collect POAP to later sell them, we collect them to have onchain proof of attendance (which *may* be rewarded later on)

# of IRL connections (cc @icebreaker)
# of shared experiences (cc @eventsxyz, /poap)
# of shared communities (channels, @hypersub)
collective physical + mental health (cc @receipts or what i've seen from @albiverse)

i think tokens can give us a sense of belonging. we can instantly get into a conversation and have a collective purpose if a token was a thing but not the thing to be talked about.

e.g. $FLY is social lubricant to bring folks together for pizza, coffee, etc.
